Christians and evidentiary double standards?

Religion itself is fundamentally hypocritical. 'Prove it or shut it' works, so does 'evidence or it didn't happen'. The evolution of bacteria has been observed, some have mutated their DNA to 'side-step' the effects of antibiotics.
